Thirty seven cases of Korean Hemorrhagic Fever who were admitted to Jeonbug National University Hospital, Jeonju Presbyterian Hospital, Jeonju St. Marry Hospital, Kunsan Provincial Hospital, and ´Kunsan_.Seagrave Hospital, from Nov. 1972 to Oct. 1976, were analysed on the standpoint of geographic di stribution, epidemiology, occupational distribution, clinical and laboratory findings.
The results were as follows:
1. 89.2% of total cases were male. 2. The death rate was 13.3%.
3. Geographic distribution was considered to break out in all areas of Jeonbug province.
4. The incidence was 0. 91 in 1975 and in comparrison with other province, we suspected that K. H. F. had the tendency of decrement from North in order of Kang Won, Kyung Ki, Chung Buk, Chung Nam, K.yung Buk, and Jeon Bug.
5. Seasonal distribution was showed in all seasons.
6. The occupational distribution was peak incidence in field laborer, such as, farmer, carpenter, and camper.
7. The phase of disease on admission was 73.3% of oliguric phase and 13. 3% of diuretic phases.
8., In expired four cases, we could observe the tendency of severe bleeding and various symptoms of uremia.
